In very first times, I used internet and joined the online chatting room. I was totally lost with what they were talking. "lol", "pov", "lmao", "fu", "stfu" and many many more. Those are the words you can't find in dictionary. So whenever you get lost in translation, pls feel free to type that word in search engines like Google Search or Yahoo Search.
Here are some useful and most common slang.

• B2B - Business to Businessblog - Also known as web log or an online journal (even blog is an internet slang lol)
• BRB - Be right back
• BTW - By the way
• CU - See you (later)
• FOAF - Friend of a friend
• FU - F*ck you
• HAND - have a nice day
• KISS - Keep it simple stupid
• lamer - A know-nothing, one who is lame
• LOL - Laughing out loud, laugh out loud
• LMAO - Laughing my ass off
• MYOB - Mind your own business
• NP - No problem
• NVM - Nevermind
• OMG - Oh my god
• P2P - Peer to peer, or pay to play
• smiley - Another name for emoticons
• STFU - Shut the f*ck up
• TY - Thank you
• WB - Welcome back
• YW - You're welcome.
